Benefits of Ambedkar DBT Voucher Scheme
- This scheme is for the students studying undergraduate and postgraduate (only for academic courses Arts, Science and Commerce faculties) in all government colleges run by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department at the district headquarters.
- Who stay away from home and study by renting a room at another place, admission in the college under Ambedkar DBT Voucher Scheme as a recharge amount for facilities like accommodation, food and electricity, water etc.
- ₹ 2000 per month per year (for a maximum of 10 months) will be given from the date of the month of March to the month of March.
Eligibility for Ambedkar DBT Voucher Scheme
- The benefit of this scheme will be given only to the native students of Rajasthan, the operation of this scheme has been started for the students studying in the current academic session.
- Students of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes, Economically Weaker Sections, and Minorities should be studying in the academic course in the government college located at the district level.
- In this, the family income of SC, ST, and SBC category candidates should be a maximum Rs 2.50 lakh, for OBC the family income has been fixed at a maximum of Rs 1.50 lakh and for EWS it has been fixed at Rs 1 lakh.
- The candidate should not be a resident of the Municipal Corporation or Municipal Council or Nagar Palika in the district in which the government college is studying.
- Under the Ambedkar DBT Voucher Scheme, students whose parents or guardians have their own house in the city or place where he/she is currently studying, will not get the benefit of this scheme.
- Under this scheme, 1500 students of Scheduled Castes, 1500 students of Scheduled Tribes, 750 students of Backward Classes, 750 students of Most Backward Classes, 500 students of Economic Backward Classes, and 500 students of Minority Classes will benefit, for a total of 5,500 students.
